Ingredients
- 250 g of water
- 100 g of salted butter
- 150 g of flour
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder (~5 g)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 3 whole eggs
- Pearl sugar for the topping
Steps
- Preheat your convection (aka fan-assisted) oven to 170 °C.
- In a pan, bring the water (250 g) and the butter (100 g) to a boil.
- As soon as it does, remove from the heat and add the flour (150 g), and baking powder (1/2 sachet).
- Mix until the dough forms a ball. Let it cool down for a couple minutes.
- Add the sugar (1 tablespoon) and the eggs (3) one after the other, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the mixture into a piping bag and pipe small balls onto a baking sheet. Make sure to leave plenty of space between them.
- Sprinkle with pearl sugar. Press them gently to stick.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool down for a couple minutes.
